Well, we've threatened to do other scale projects, so here we go! Now that other builders are introducing r-e-a-l-l-y narrow guage locomotives, it is time we provided rolling stock.
With the stalemate of trench warfare, the Western allies in the "Great War" had to supply the needs of millions of troops at the front. The answer was a network of 60cm rail lines to the trenches. The most common rolling stock were gondolas, flat cars, and boxcars. Many of these cars were surplused to other uses after the war.
Many of these cars (and their offspring designs) wound up on the various 2' gauge railways in
the South African colonies. Since we love the Garrett locomotives, the Division Point
has decided to model some of these "mini-cars". While we have not decided on the specific cars, it
appears we will build the following:
