Rock Island
Wood Cabooses

From 1906 to 1913, the Rock Island aquired a large number of cabooses built to essentially the same plan, though build by three different car builders. Since our recent Rock Island Northerns and Mountains look a bit "nekked" without a crummy attached, some cabooses are in order. We have decided to do double-sheathed wood cabooses to better reflect the 1940s and early 1950s.

The Division Point will only do 100 cabooses, so you are advised to contact your dealer to reserve yours!

Here's our initial selections:

Series 17950-17999, Whipple Car Co., 1913, steel underframe
