As we researched the Kraus-Maffei project, we discovered the Rio Grande's #10 Dynamometer car. Modified from a Pullman troop sleeper, #10 had bay windows, air condtioning, a generator set and a couple of "teardrop" auto searchlights added to support the dynamometer equipment. Though a constant companion to the Kraus-Maffei locos, the "Grand" used #10 test many other D&RGW diesels. A worth addition to your model "Grande", we've decided to offer it as a "single".
