Florida East Coast
4-8-2 Mountain

From 1924 through 1926, the Florida East Coast Railway was a regular "Mountain" customer at the Schenectady Works, buying four batches of 4-8-2s. The FEC was an early convert to diesel, and sold most of these locomotives to National Railways of Mexico between 1936 and 1954. Because of this relatively quick turnover, we've selected road numbers that were in service through 1955.

The Division Point and Boo-Rim will offer this LIMITED EDITION project in different numbers. With only 80 pieces to be produced, you are well advised to contact your dealer to reserve yours!

January 2006: We are zeroing in on the second batch from ALCO in 1924 through 1926, in particilar numbers 433 to 442. Of these, nos.435, 436, 437, 438, and 440 could be the numbers. We'll try them! LIMITED numbers, 20 of each, so call your dealer, make that reservation!
