Diesel Project |
To compete with Alco and Baldwin, in 1947 Fairbanks-Morse introduced the H15-44. This 1,500hp "All Purpose" or "General Service locomotive came with Loewy's styling touches - curved cab windows, slightly sloped ends and raised headlight mounts. The H-15-44 was superceeded in April 1950 by the 1,600-hp H16-44.
The Division Point will offer a wide range of the H15-44s. We are be listing most of the roads' variants for your consideration, and we await your feedback! Target delivery is 2008. Call your Division Point dealer!
