We here at the Division Point are fascinated with the locomotives produced by both Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW) and the Canadian Locomotive Co. (CLC). Although G-3 Pacifics were being constructed as early as 1919, this production run will concentrate on the G-3-f, G-3-g, G-3-h and G-3-j sub-classes which were produced between 1940 and 1948. Sometimes called "Bowen" Class Pacifics, these models will recreate the original design of Henry Bowen, the last steam-era Mechanical Chief for the CPR. Streamlined cabs and running boards, 75"drivers, etc, are all common to many of the Bowen locomotives such as the CPR Hudsons and Jubilees. All of the models in this run will be coal versions and will be finished in the appropriate paint and lettering to represent the 1950s era.
The Division Point and Boo-Rim will offer this LIMITED EDITION project in different numbers. With only 120 pieces to be produced, you are well advised to contact your dealer to reserve yours!
